Ben has come a long way since starting out in the industry as tea-boy and assistant engineer in prestigious London studios like Olympic, Sarm West and The Dairy. While he was there he was lucky enough to assist people like Cenzo Townshend, Stephen Street and Mark 'Spike' Stent, learning the fundamentals from working with the best in the industry.

A talented musician himself, Ben left his studio job when his band To Kill A King got signed and he went on to produce most of their first album. He has since produced 2 albums and 3 EPs for To Kill A King and has gone pro as a producer working with a number of up and coming British artists from his North London studio

Ben produced and mixed tracks on the recent To Kill A King album 'Spiritual Dark Age' and their three acoustic EPs which have been released alongside the album. He has also produced artists including Little White Things (psychedelic pop)Childcare (garage indie) and Sad Palace (psych rock).

He has also worked with National Service, Bokito, Indigo HuskISLAND (blues indie)Saint Clair (soulful pop) and Jagara (dark pop).

He also releases music himself as Mr BJ Jackson, the moniker under which he has remixed artists including Kyla La Grange and Jagara. 

With his broad musical skillset, his own studio space and his calm, unpretentious manner, Ben is swiftly becoming the producer of choice for a generation of exciting new artists breaking out of London and beyond.
